61.153 Eligibility Requirements

Be at least 23 yrs of age

Be able to read, write and speak the English language

Have a first class medical

61.157 Flight Proficiency

61.159 Aeronautical Experience

1500 hours total time

500 hours cross country

100 hours night

75 hours instrument

Maximum of 50 hours in a simulator

250 hours pilot in command

A person who has performed at least 20 night takeoffs and landings may substitute each additional night takeoff and landing to a full stop for 1 hour of night flight time, only 25 hours of night flight time can be credited in this manor
